Owner and Director Mike McAdam opened his first school, North Main Music, in 2003 and provided electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and bass lessons. In 2007 Mike expanded the school by adding voice, piano, and drum instructors with the school moving to its first commercial location at 120 Main Street in Nashua.
Mike says “It’s been exciting not only to see the school change as we have added more programs, but to see students go on to play professionally or just pick up a great new hobby that they can
enjoy for a lifetime is especially rewarding to me”.
In 2010 North Main music opened a second school in Bedford, NH with the expectation of offering the same lesson experience provided by it’s Nashua location. “We have had great success in Bedford with our after school program, so it made sense to expand with private lessons that were close by.”
North Main Music is a full-time, full-service, lessons studio providing private music instruction for guitar, bass, piano, banjo, drums, and voice. All teachers are University Graduates from prestigious music programs such as Berklee College of Music, Southern New Hampshire University, and the New England Conservatory, thus offering a higher level of quality teaching.
At North Main Music we strive to encourage our students to explore and maximize their musical potential. Our semi-annual student concert provides students the opportunity to share and to celebrate their skills and passion for music with their families, friends, and community. We also feature a full-service recording studio that provides students with a hands-on learning experience. Our student touring group, “The North Main Music Guitar Army”, performs throughout the New England area. Many of our students have gone on to study at prestigious music programs such as the ones offered at Berklee College Of Music, U-Mass, UNH, Southern New Hampshire University and Musicians Institute. |
